A most floriferous species endemic to Greece. Although its small measurements, only 8-15cm it produces quite showy clumps. Excellent for the rock garden or in a pot.

An incredibly robust and beautiful species from Morocco and the Canary Islands.
It flowers in autumn when leaves are still immature. Unlike its relative S. madeirensis from Madeira the stem of this species tends to branch into three, with a long flowering season.
