This is a showy autumnal flowering species from Crete, close to Chania. Smaller than the form of mainland Greece but seems to set more flowers .Forms small clumps.
Originally received from JJA seeds. Needs a long, dry summer rest.
Small, showy species from the Island of Poros, seems to be an intermediate form between the yellow tipped F rhodocanakis and F graeca. Early flowering with large flowers.
