Lovely slender species. Flowering late summer, 30-40cm.
Excellent for a pot or rockery, needs summer irrigation.

Our plants are grown from seeds from Armenia. Leaves are only 5-8 cm, clumps quite rapidly.

A slender desert species from Israel, Jordan and Syria.
Up to 3 flowering stems to 20 cm. Many pale flowers with deep purple stamens. Unlike its relatives the pedicels of this species elongate much after anthesis.

The only autumnal flowering species. Usually appears immediately after the first rain to follow by filiforme leaves. Dew to the many bulblets it produces it can become quite weedy.
Better divide it every few years in order to get more flowering stems. Prefers fertile soils.
