Description

Although this name is a synonym of F. persica, in my opinion it should be treated as a different taxa.

Distributed in the deserts of Jordan, Israel and Syria this form grows mainly in Chalky/sandy soils and flower few weeks after its northern relative F. libanotica.

Flower color can vary from milky-white to almost reddish and maroon colors.  A tough plant that in dry years stays dormant underground waiting for the next rain.
