Description

The autumnal flowering form  which distribution is from S. Greece (Peloponnese), Cyprus ,Lebanon and Syria, Israel, Palestine and Jordan Usually growing in rock pockets and crevices. It blooms as early as October till early December, leaves (1)-2-(3) are not fully developed as it starts flowering. It is a much more slender than the winter flowering form. In some populations the flowering stem elongate at fruiting time up to 70! cm.  Seeds mature quite fast.
