



Ornithogalum arabicum
This well known species is native to the western Mediterranean and North Africa. Tall stems in late spring, to about 80 cm caring large white flowers with black stigma and bright yellow stamens. Excellent for a large pot or in a sunny, mild garden. Good increaser and an excellent cut flower. Wonderful as a cut flower!

In my opinion this taxon should retake back its original name Romulea crocea as it looks and has very different growth habits to R. bulbocodium. The form offered has a lovely deep yellow color with nice brownish/purple markings and veins.
