Tulipa boissieri OP220024

5.00

A fascinating desert species growing at high elevations in South Jordan and the Upper Negev Desert. In Flora Palaestina it has been described as Tulipa systola but it is clearly different from the species described from Iran.

It has bluish-green undulate leaves and the deepest red colored flowers. Leaves and stem are hairy.

Needs to be grown under glass, in hot sunny position. Should be quite hardy.
