Tall, slender, bluish-green leaves and the darkest color in the genus.
Probably the 1st time bulbs of this species are available.
These are 2 years old bulbs, meaning they still need 3-4 years to bloom.
Needs dry, long summer rest. Not hardy!

In my opinion this taxon should retake back its original name Romulea crocea as it looks and has very different growth habits to R. bulbocodium. The form offered has a lovely deep yellow color with nice brownish/purple markings and veins.
